Was there ever a record more exciting than 'Mama Weer All Crazee Now'? Agree with the comment about Dave Hill being an under-rated guitarist. Saw them live twice way back in the day...Dave was fantastic live...as indeed were all of the band. Why they were not massive in America I will never know!

Dave Hill is a total legend. Saw Slade at Sheffield City Hall in either 1980 or 81 and they were fantastic

Dave is a guitar player with amazing vibrato and very nice solos /not diffucult/ but very very melodic! I like him a lot.

Slade is GREAT!!! I would love to see the original band reunited (With Noddy Holder and Jim Lea rejoining, and doing more albums,(The last full-length album was "You Boyz Make Big Noize"in 1986-24 years ago!!!)
