Any idea where I can find sheet music for this particular version? Or would anyone happen to know the composer/person who arranged this version of the song? Looking into performing this very soon and I want to do this version!
Saragunter.. I have NEVER heard a cover in my life that I liked better than the 'big star' version of a song.. till now. The images you have chosen add some pretty strong 'impact' to your song. You may have heard Amy Grant's song "Better than a Hallelujah"? Your Prayer of St. Francis is simple, straightforward and very much 'from the heart'. This will reach people, and maybe even God, in a more meaningful way than something 'highly produced'. Thank you. I'm sharing it on my FB.
@socrateacher WOW!!! This is one of the most gracious and thoughtful comments I have ever received. Thank you for the time it took, and for the heart to share.
Can you tell me what key and if I can get the sheet music or chord chart for this song Great job...Thank for your reply a while back...I actually sing this song in it classical style, but would like to get back to my piano playing...I do play guitar and sing too...
Looking for a good recording of The Prayer of St Francis, and ran across your version. Wow! You have such a marvelous voice, and in absolute control of it. Wow! So impressed, spent most of the morning listening to all of yours. Would love to see-hear more of them. Jim (also from East Texas)
@SkullThimble Hey! thank you tons for taking the time to comment here! I would be making more but I can't find any tracks to sing along with :(. I am looking for Songbird (Eva Cassidy version); Angel from Montgomery (Susan Tedeschi version) and Gypsy Moth (Hoyt Axton). If you know of anything, kindly shoot it my way! Thanks :)
Your cover is the best I've come across. Simple and beautiful. I've used it to learn the song and sang it yesterday at church. I've listened to it loads of times now. Thanks very much.
I like your Amen it is so soulful, as is the song itself, but the Amen was so beautiful.... I would love to sing your version, is it possible to get maybe a lead sheet if that is ok with you. I am singing the original version in Classical style, but I also sing Jazz too...
This is the version by Sarah McLachlan, so I suppose she would have sheet music online somewhere...I don't read music...I do it all by ear. I'd like to learn some day though!
That was so innocently sounding but filled with strong conviction interpretation...may I have your permission to use this for my audio for my future powerpoint presentation for my students?
good job...thank you for sharing this..i love francis of assisi, and it's nice to find things like this that people have put effort in making...i like your version..thank you
Another great work! Not only a Former Marine but Also a Seminarian for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles; which leads to this comment. Great use of photos and a wonderful prayer may God continue to bless you and your family as you continue with this venture!

I prefer your version to Sarah McLachlan's, there just seems to be more pure emotion in your voice and just piano alone.
What a amazing prayer.
