Myself being in the military we are only given info on a need to know basis and info is fed downward from the higher ups. Even if he is a Lt Col, not all officers get all the info, it comes in segments or what they need to know. I believe he's been kept out of the loop, as many of the gaurd/reserve units all over the states have been and usually are. You are right though, the military is being aclimated to what ever may happen in the future.

my unit including myself always just thought it was training for Afghanistan, we set up roadblocks & actually stopped ppl altho we let all the ppl from the town thru the checkpoint & did not search them, it was just training, but i never realized untill about a year ago what the training had dual perposes on training for martial law, in canada there is no posse commentatus act or anything like it,

sadly most of the unit is gungho 18 year olds that know nothing of what constitutes freedom, i was the second oldest in my basic training at 21, i have no clue what they would do, i do know quite a few people would desert, but the majority are young & dumb, i myself would leave, i signed on to get high school credits & shoot some guns, not to destroy our freedoms, i have been declared NES (non-effective status) for i have not gone in more 2 years (they probably want their gear back lol)

The Col. is mistaken with regard to his unit being federalized being something political, and none of his business.

I have friends and family in the military and I support the troops, however it is the civilians responsibility to educate and inform our bothers and sisters in the armed forces. They must know what is going on. Only the truth can set us free. Once they know what is really going on, it will be up to them to decide whether or not they will follow unconstitutional orders. It's gotta be a 2 way cycle we support our troops as long as our troops support us.

Myself being in the military we are only given info on a need to know basis and info is fed downward from the higher ups. Even if he is a Lt Col, not all officers get all the info, it comes in segments or what they need to know. I believe he's been kept out of the loop, as many of the gaurd/reserve units all over the states have been and usually are. You are right though, the military is being aclimated to what ever may happen in the future.

personaly, this guy is just a PR rep, his job is to make the unit look good, they specificlay told my whole unit to keep media answers short & dont talk about the mission, i hope to god the unit commander has good morals

what was the feeling among your unit? Were they aware of the actual endgame ?You said your self you couldnt believe the things you did, but yet you still did them. What were your thoughts at the time?

my unit including myself always just thought it was training for Afghanistan, we set up roadblocks & actually stopped ppl altho we let all the ppl from the town thru the checkpoint & did not search them, it was just training, but i never realized untill about a year ago what the training had dual perposes on training for martial law, in canada there is no posse commentatus act or anything like it,

so you werent made aware of that through your commanders then, you found out from an outside source? What do you think you and your fellow soldiers would have done if you were told to round up americans or candaians?

sadly most of the unit is gungho 18 year olds that know nothing of what constitutes freedom, i was the second oldest in my basic training at 21, i have no clue what they would do, i do know quite a few people would desert, but the majority are young & dumb, i myself would leave, i signed on to get high school credits & shoot some guns, not to destroy our freedoms, i have been declared NES (non-effective status) for i have not gone in more 2 years (they probably want their gear back lol)

A thinking, intelligent, and a moral soldier is more patriotic and better committed than a brainwashed, poorly educated goon.
The Nazi SS and Hitler's Brown Shirts were mostly gangs, unemployed, and sadistic. The only educated member was Joseph Goebbels.
It seems that US is aiming to recruit the dumbest and most morally deprived individuals so that they won't loose sleep over killing a child or raping someone or unleashing havoc onto a local populous, whether American or non-American.

there was an incident in 1990 (called the Oka Crisis) where the native ppls in Oka, Quebec took some of their land back & the military was called in & a firefight actually ensued! scary
