@gleekacholic I'm sure Chloe gets attention or she wouldn't be getting any high titles. Remember all we see is just a glimpse into their lives. Abby wants every dancer to succeed. It wouldn't make sense for her not to. She can't pay attention to EVERY SINGLE PERSON. Not humanly possible.

Maddie is an AMAZING dancer!! If she sticks with her dance and with Abby that little girl is going to go places!! She is so young but her dance is SOO mature!! This solo was one of my favorites on the show!!

It's all in technique and controlled landing. When landing like that you hold most of your weight off the floor. You land with the top of your foot first and then roll onto your shin and then knee. That facilitates the force of landing and makes sure your kneecap doesn't get smashed to bits. It gives the looks of landing right onto the knee but she isn't.
