My Castana cousins' daughter was in Miss Iowa 2009 pageant... she was in a group of chosen not sent away, can't recall WHERE she was placed, but she is in their book, Her last name is Sorenson.
She doesn't believe in gay couples who are in loving relationships being able to adopt and takes every moment to proudly express that...so much for being Miss America, hun...you clearly overlooked the part that mentioned being an ambassador for ALL people and not being educated on our countries failed foster system. The epitome of ignorant beauty queen. Glad in the end that comment back fired on her and reserved her from winning the crown.
I'm not happy for it. I mean, finally someone that's not fake!! And she's intelligent too! She could refrain from promoting her view, but when asked, she should clearly say it loud and proud! Half subjective, half objective, I state that gay should not be able to adopt - yet. The world is not ready for it. The kid would get teased and maybe even beaten at school for it! What loving parent would ever do that to a son/daughter?! But soon, maybe..
