The Jill thing is just a rumor so we cant jump to conclusions. I think that the demo was trying to bring something that everyone loved from 4 back to get people excited for 5, I have no doubt that 5 will be original and amazing.

although i am in agreement with the jill thing, the evidence does seem to point to jill, e.g the poster with chris sitting in front of jills memorial, the game apparently taking into some sort of flashbacks including the supposed what happened to jill etc...

and i dont doubt it will be amazing, the gameplay elements are what made 4 good, and they arent moving away from that, just the surroundings in some parts, and the demo hould have included new and old, it just seems a bit odd...

Is it me or has resident evil just lost its survival horror aspect. I want it back to the days when resident evil 1 had me shit my pants or when just a music score cause an anal evacuation so horrifying it produces the next star wars film!!

I think they shoulda ended it with 3 and then made 4 into its own game.

i do admit, 3 was the last resident evil game, but apparently 4 and 5 links into the story, all i know is that 4 leads into degeneration then into 5, its sort of a rebuild of umbrella so hopefully we might have a world infection thus bringing on something close to the old

the games are good, they just aren't resident evil anymore

i agree i also saw the same similarities except the krauser jill thing. You're right its not very original but its gonna be fun to play. think of it as re 4.5.
