I bought one of these TSG22 early 2011 and I experienced all of the same problems, what a piece of junk. I had to send it back twice to have it worked on, the second time I had to send the complete Glock in as well so they could work on it. It works okay now but I wish I would have bought a dedicated .22 pistol instead. I don't get as many failures but it still happens.
Bummer. You could have sent several hundred rounds downrange in 12 minutes vs. dealing with their issues. At least you spoke with a real person, that in itself is a plus in today's "phone tree" world of trying to do business with a company.
Thanks for posting the update. That was painful to watch to say the least, I wanted to throw the thing down range!
If they can make it run it'll be a very sweet piece, but if they have to modify your frame to make their aftermarket parts work then they need to revisit the drawing board.
@1AbominAble1 There will be more video on this kit coming up just as soon as it gets back. I'm so anxious it would be worth taking a day of vacation just to shoot it.
The gunsmith at TS only wanted the frame so that we can positively eliminate the possibility that it could have something to do with the malfunctioning. He won't have to make alterations to it, just use it for the test firing after his alterations to the conversion kit have been completed.
i don't know how that extractor is supposed to work on that kit whether its supposed to slam over the rim of the case upon feeding or if the case rim is supposed to slide up underneath the extractor while feeding but some of those failure to fire and eject live cases it looks as if the extractor is behind the case rim preventing the slide from going into battery. might just be a feed angle issue. that or an extractor spring tension issue.let us know what they "fix" when you get it back!good luck
@OldPackMule You bet I will. Can't wait to have this thing running because even fumbling with every few rounds it was fun to shoot a .22 LR Glock. I've got lots more video that I didn't upload and in a few clips I could have made the kit look awesome. Even got the 15-in a-row with Mini-Mags on video but there would be no reason to post that rare occurrence... Unless I was making a video for the company, haha.
@theKGB65 I concur with OldPackMule, that was painful. Is it even worth the aggravation plus his request that you send your Glock frame with the slide? You would think that they have their own test frames. He must think you're a novice with a bad frame. In the words of Elmer J Fudd, "He don't know you vewy well, do he?"
@juanriv01 Once I get over the initial disappointment, sending things back to the factory doesn't bother me that much. The Tech who I spoke to just wanted to make sure I wasn't running any aftermarket parts that could be interfering with the kit and offered to do the testing on my receiver because I had mentioned dedicating it to the G22, a gun I rarely shoot anyway. It was just an option that would eliminate one potential variable which seemed logical. Problem is - they didn't pay shipping.
The Mini Mags seemed to shoot better. Does the feed ramp need to be polished ? It seems the new round is not flush resulting in a light or misplaced strike. You may be lubricating the slide to reduce friction ; however , if you are dragging on the ramp all the lubrication in the world would not make it slick enough ? ?
@MrRichardbryan The gunsmith I spoke to at TS mentioned working on the ramp so we'll see what he comes up with. Wish I would have made note of the fact that I wanted to know what he ends up doing if it isn't replaced outright. I'll have to give him a call right after I get it back so I can mention it in a follow-up video.

Thanks for the update video. I watched the video thru the first magazine and got frustrated for you. Hope you get it fixed sooner than later.
If you end up parting with it, don't give up on the .22 conversions, just get an advantage arms kit. I love mine.
All the best

I've looked into this for my Glock 22. I agree with some of the other comments. It might be a magazine problem. What brand Mags are you using?
ashley8072 2 months ago
@ashley8072 These mag's are Tactical Solutions'; they were ordered with the kit.
theKGB65 2 months ago
Might be worth wile to get an Advantage Arms Glock conversion magazine. It seems many of your issues are mag related (I think all 3 are bad).
derweibhai 2 months ago
@derweibhai That might be an option if I find out that the AA mag's will work with this TS kit.
All three mag's were sent to the factory with the kit and my Glock receiver.

Four shots in a row. Awesome!
That conversion kit kind of sucks.
