i pictured them a little wider and tan colored without the stripes, and having a Dumbo face or something. and the wheels were on every leg and they were lime green with peachy fuzz on them.

i thought each animal had ONE wheel. Said wheel was placed UNDER the body with the two legs... the front and back leg doing the pushing.

I thought of the Mulfula with those Designs but a more of a stronger build and looking like an odd elephant (with the Diamond shaped body)

haha, cool, i imagined them with only 3 legs and they held the wesl with the two middle legs and hooked their one big claw in each foot into the weel, so that it wasnt always attatched, i think thats kinda how they are described, but appart from that, it looks almost exactly how i think they looked like....idk its been a long time since i've read the book :P

i always thought of them being a bit thicker, dark and bluish, but basically just like that with much bigger wheels. What the fuck was Pullman thinking? So weird.

i always had difficulties to imagine the mulefa while reading the book, it just never became a clear picture for me. this thing really helped, thank you for making it. ^___^ i think my picture of them is getting clearer now. ^___^b

why has all the mulefa pictures I have seen have little ears (flap), I have always imagined they have big elephant ears when I was reading it :)
