Is the dear little creature making a l'il fart as they put the thermometer in his tooshie? So cute and so lovable! A baby polar bear is so cuddly looking!

countine: Imagine living in your room for all your life with people looking inside your window, you cant understand them you have no idea what they are or what they're doing, The bear has no idea of how happy he could be outisde this tiny platform
The baby was ABANDONED. He will identify with his human caregivers and consider them his family. He will be fine in that sense until he grows up and has to be separated from them. Regardless they did the absolute right thing by rescuing him and raising him. Would you rather that they left him there to die?! I mean wtf. Are you one of those sadistic, hypocritical PETA freaks?
No, that was another polar bear. Vilma ate her twins. Vera started acting very strangely. She carried Flocke around outside at a time when she would normally stay inside for another few months. She also kept dropping her to the ground. Sometimes little Flocke fell down the stone steps in the habitat. Also, Vilma wouldn't return to the room where she was supposed to be with Flocke because something upset her and she felt that she and her cub weren't save there.
She only wanted to protect Flocke and find a new place to bring her up. But since a zoo isn't the wilderness there was no other place. But still, Flocke would have died if the keepers hadn't taken her away from Vera.
poor bear, it should be in the wild, like all animals! the baby bear is held against it will!! You'll all wonder what the animals on zoo would say if they could talk. poor animals.
and you think all the animals on zoo's are there because of their mother leaving them? They're born there, they dont know about the "real life" just living on a platform, where they just sees a bunch of people and cameras... fun? maybe you should live like that for a month and see how you feel?
Im talking about all the animals in the zoo Mostly the big ones
You dont feel any sadness when you see them? I was at a zoo in france. Where there was a polarbear doing the same thing over and over again He had no life He lived on a very small space for a bear.
This is why zoos need more money, to increase the standard of living for the animals that live there. This is really the only thing you can do right now, since you just can't drop these animals into the wild. But improvements like can't be created out of good will, they require money.
That more money requires more visitors, and that might upset the animals, makes this a tricky situation. The zoo officials have to find the right balance, and I wish Nürnberg good luck with that.

His mom ate his siblings a couple days before they took him away from her, they just didn't want that to happen to another little, innocent creature.

yeah okay then. Whats the other option? Leave the baby out in the wild to die? Yeah thats much better than taking care if it at a center. Idiot.
