@malave31 Some folks have figured out that since spears are longer than any other weapon, they can strike at people behind a shield wall who can't reach them. If the wall should charge, they can fall back behind their own shields for protection.
Are you going to this years 100 Minutes War, it supposed to be at Camp Sacajewea. I'm a youth fighter, but i'll be turning 16 this October 12th - I'm pumped to join in, I'am also looking for a cheap spun dome if you know any one... - I joined the SCA at the very last Mudthaw.
