@Abnormal96SK8ER No, there are no PCI slots in those computers, and it would not fit. It may be possible to get a firewire card for an expansion slot if your computer has one. Sorry, I'm not very familiar with the Touchsmart.

So I bought a firewire cable and card and will attempt to install it today, although im a complete technological moron and will probably wreck something! lol cheers
Yes, Adobe Premier Elements would probably be great for you! Bundled with PhotoShop for about $120 or alone for about $80 I think. Pretty powerful program, thats what I got started on, then bumped up to CS3.

Yup, and a video editor/NLE (premier, Vegas, FCE, FCP, imovie, WMM, etc) to use the footage.
