You have the best hip hop reviews, but ive gotta say, i went back to relapse last week and it sounded fucking amazing lol. I think we were all expecting a marshall mathers lp of a come back and thats partly why we were all dissapointed by relapse. Going back to the albuim i can take it with a pinch of salt and like it for what it is, even the accent has grown on me, it feels like a one off weird eminem album, an oddball cd, and i like it more than recovery coz its darker and 4 stay wide awake

You got 3AM (yes shitty accent, but lyrics were slick as hell), Stay Wide Awake (same as 3AM, but like 10 times more skillful), My Darling (which you said), Deja Vu (again you said), Beautiful (said that too lol), Must Be The Ganja, Careful What You Wish For, and I personally didn't think Crack A Bottle was all that bad anyways.

I wouldn't say it's totally that bad. It's pretty good. The lyrics and content are really good, but I guess it's that accent. I think we were expecting the old slim shady to come back from SSLP and MMLP and when we saw this it disappointed us. I do hate the accent but I get past it and actually hear and appreciate the song. And actually it's really good, but just not what we expected or wanted.

Looking back at this album after hearing Recovery, I think Relapse was and still is better... Now, Relapse kinda sucks (Don't get me wrong), but at least I'd still put this on top of that Recover bullshit...

Good review. I'd say there were a bit more than 3 or 5 good songs on there though. You got 3AM (yes shitty accent, but lyrics were slick as hell), Stay Wide Awake (same as 3AM, but like 10 times more skillful), My Darling (which you said), Deja Vu (again you said), Beautiful (said that too lol), Must Be The Ganja, Careful What You Wish For, and I personally didn't think Crack A Bottle was all that bad anyways.

4. Relapse

I agree about the accent and the content on this album. I only listen to three tracks now. Hello, Same Song & Dance, and Deja Vu. I think even Underground sucks now. I wouldn't say it's totally that bad. It's pretty good. The lyrics and content are really good, but I guess it's that accent. I think we were expecting the old slim shady to come back from SSLP and MMLP and when we saw this it disappointed us. I do hate the accent but I get past it and actually hear and appreciate the song. And actually it's really good, but just not what we expected or wanted.
