I love mario and Zelda but If the wiiU is only marginally more powerful than a PS3 then I don't think I'll be pushed into getting one, give it another year and the xbox 720 and PS4 will probably be released and the the wii U will be behind the curve again just as the wii is now. on the subject of the tablet controller I remember Sony saying the DS was a gimmick they were proved wrong, everyone said the wii controller was a great and they were proved right, but I think this controller is

The thing that annoys me is that the one thing I don't want from my console is a handheld machine. If I wanted a handheld, I'd buy a 3DS. Also, the thing I loved about the Wii was the freedom to move with the controller and this new bulky thing looks like it will be a lot more limiting in terms of movement. As for video conferencing, um... no. It's a nice extra, but it's not a big selling point.

With the Wii, I wondered how it would work. I know how this new stuff works, I just don't want it.

It's weird. The Kinect has been shown to be rather unresponsive in some games, particularly in the case of one car racing game where you can still come in third place without even steering the car.

Meanwhile the Move actually looks like a pretty decent control system for games which is responsive. It might not be so technologically abitious as the Kinect, but it definitely appears to be an upgrade on Wii's control system (even by comparison to the Motion Plus) and it works.

Im more on the no side because i have already both 360 and ps3. plus i feel like the WiiU controller is too big so I wont be buying much of the 3rd party games (unless they make it unique with the controller. ie screen). I feel like the price for this... well the console itself would be maybe price $350- 500 because those touchscreen are not cheap. The only reason I would definietly buy this is if I couldve played my ds games on it. Thats IMO an automatic buy for me, even though that wont happen

Just as an note to everyone:

Nintendo is holding a 2 hour roundtable tonight at 7:30 pm central and another tomorrow at 7:30 pm central.

Remember, this is where Nintendo announced a lot of it's 3DS lineup last year like Paper Mario, OoT, and Star Fox 64 3D.

Also, Reggie Fils Aime already said they are discussing the online functionality sometime this week, which most likely means at these roundtables.

Just thought I'd let people that are interested know.

We're going to get it! I think the direction Nintendo is taking with this new system is awesome. There are so many new possibilities with the new remote. Today they just showed the remote folks.., wait until the developers start releasing title previews. I think as the games come out more people will be impressed with the new system.
