I did this mod and had made the pedal alot stiffer (yay) however when i push the pedal all the way down it no longer gives maximum output. Anyone else had any similar problem?
@WiThErZ666 that happened to my gas pedal the first time. The problem is that you put the pedal back in the wrong position, open it again, the cog wheel position matters here, I'm showing that at one point in the video ;)
actually this is pretty simple. I never have really been concerned with the pedal resistance but I decided I'd check out some mods out of curiosity. I'm glad I did
I used some old vga-cable instead cotton buds, luckily that cable was like made for this mod.. Now break pedal feels so much better. Thank you for sharing this mod.
just tried, BIGGG improvement !!! took less than 5 mins to do, not only did it get rid of the secondary spring clicking sound on the brake pedal, it now actually feels like a brake pedal.
i didn't use cotton bud but instead i used those screws anchors, work like a charm! i added those on both the brake and the gas pedals. thanks alot!!! great idea you have there
@wegputzer1979 I see. Actually the pedal feels hard enough to me, but it just doesn't behave right. I managed to get it really close to a real one using DxTweak2. I'm gonna mod mine too though, but I'll replace the steering wheel :). If you play it with PC, please check my channel. I'm a LFS drifter. You should check it out some time.
@McFabyyyan I don´t want to be rude, but, I think instead to ask this to our german friend that already had a lot of work to post this in english (Universal language) to everybody understand, use the Google Translator. Detail: I´m a brazilian, and english is not my official language just like you.

@Syphon787G Hey, some people use a second pedal set and use the gas edal as a clutch, but that stuff just works for pc, not ps3
