  • too bad aesop rock does not rap with felt 3 that would be awesome

  • @dundalkmyths he does a lill bit but word

  • @dundalkmyths

really i said the same thing

he does a little chorus but thats it

i hate anyone else on jux...

  • i kno right

  • omfg i always wonder wtf is thinkin bout cuzz his eyes r out dere

  • word up man now days these cats aint representin hip hop like they supposed too! def jux took it back...mad love!!!!

  • These guys are awesome & what they do at live is what makes hip-hop beautiful.

  • something great about Aesop Rock is that they are so multicultural and susceptible to every kind of music. I love rap, but it has to be a certain kind. Same thing with rock or jazz or country.

  • im english and i say a-sop but thats the same as ace-opp how could anyone be stupid enuf to need to no or how to say aesop hes like 3000 years old making fables like the stock with the long beak that cant drink...i cant remeber long time ago

  • in america it would be pronounced Aceopp but in the UK in it is pronounced Eesop. just a funny little language difference. although i say Aceopp cos thats what him as the artist calls himself.

  • No, you're right about pronouncing the name how the artist pronounces it. In the UK we pronounce it 'Ace-op' aswell. Granted we do change Ae's to ee's every now and then but I think we pronounce names how the person who has the name tells us to, and good old Aes always reminds us. Tomayto, Tomaesop.

  • i f ing love aesop rock and i bearly lke hip hop becuz of it being "dead" and all

  • your a fool if you think hip hop is dead educate your self your on the right track with aesop but do digging my friend he has emerged recently not to hard to catch him on mtv2 these days

  • if u think Aesop emerged "recently" you don't know shit. He's been around for years, maybe it is you who should have been doing some digging, instead of watching MTV2 looking for hip-hop.

  • emerged to the surface recently catching more mainstream viewers because of Mtv2 Aesop became a well known Mc before i started listening yes but i have been listening for 5 years now so i think you miss understood what i said i guess i didn't word that very well i dont ven have MTV 2 haha or watch Tv for that matter

  • No problems. I just hate it when people say that they should 'educate' themselves, or call other people fools because they haven't picked up on dope underground artists like Aesop, Slug, Sage Franics, Apathy, Edan etc. And fuck MTV2 and MTV, they are garbage and a terrible way to find good music. If you only saw what was on TV or heard what was on the radio you would think that hip-hop is dead. Thankfully, artists like Aesop have kept it alive..Let's hope it lasts...

  • he said "emerged", not "been around".

  • question mark.

  • you contradicted yourself. How could hip hop be dead if poeple like aes rizzle are still around?

  • @mattbnugka Hip hop is preserving itself right now. It'll never die; whenever thugs like lil wayne try to destroy what hip hop really is, the earth worms take hip hop back and to restore and preserve it until it can be let loose again.

  • " asip rock " real nice.

  • i think a tripod or a camera man is necessary! and i would have to agree with the "asip" pronunciation... weird.

  • um numbskulls, "aesop" comes from the guy who wrote fables. it's not pronounced ace-OPP

  • Hell, even Ace pronounces it ace-OPP.

  • Aesop doesn't DIRECTLY come from the fable writer, he took it from the name of his role in a student film, which may or may not have been named after the fable writer.

Either way, Aesop pronounces it "ace-OPP" in both songs and interviews, so that's how its pronounced. Doesn't matter how the original Aesop writer pronounced it.

  • that interviewer needs to pronounce Aesop's name right.

  • aesop looks like he's tripping balls. watch his eyes suddenly get big as shit

  • i know right!!!!!!!!!! thats the 1st thing i thought when the first few sec'ds of this interview ran off!!!!!!!! LOL i bet he is a tripper!!!!!!!!

  • he is lol

  • i don't think i could handel an interview!!!!! LOL

  • havent you hear the greatest pacman victory in human hisory?

  • bro ive been saying the same shit

but i think hes eyes are just like tht

in other interviews he does the same shit

  • @drodude301 Erm, dilation comes from taking in more light, a heightening in perception. Meditation dilates the pupils, any form of intense concentration. The man is some crazy reincarnated voodoo, which means he's more active than your avergae MC, or person. He... remember more because he feels more.

  • @raccoonlord maybe..... or he could just be zoning on some blotter acid

  • @drodude301 Yeah, fuck what I said.

Drodude, you're totally right. Fuckit, I'mma go zone.

  • @drodude301 ha i have a friend that does that too

  • @drodude301 Well according to some of his old songs, he admits to LSD having a strong presence on his way of thinking from his youth. I think that from a lot of his interviews and side projects (of course in his raps) he has a transcendent way about him. So while I don't think hes on any substance here I think yes I think he is tripping, but he seems to use it to his advantage.

  • aesop rock is the man... in world of terrible, violent rap.. he's a breath of fresh air. keep doing your thing!

  • seriously, In KNOW 4 sure da underground stuff is 1000% better dan dat mainstrem bullshit.. dey so fake

  • and you typing like your some kind of thug on the internet is real?
