@TechandTK Well i once installed this and did all the steps to block adobe from connecting to the servers. But now, i want to remove the script that blocked the host because i have legitimate software and its not allowing me to register it/says theres a licensing error and quits the application.

Hi. Great video- really clear and easy to follow. I followed your instructions but it hasn't quite worked.

I ran the Adobe Blocker, installed the files as trials, quit them and opened Photoshop. I tried all the product keys but none worked. I then pasted this into the Terminal app: sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Con­tents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts

I think it should give me the code, etc that blocks Adobe but it just gave me an error message. I'm new to Mac & any help would be great.

@PhillipJohns821 FYI- I made a mistake when following the instructions. I had already tried installing another version of Photoshop but hadn't deleted it properly. When I tried to put in the serials it kept telling me they were invalid. I deleted all the Adobe stuff and started again. The third serial worked for me in the end. A massive thanks to TK!!

I ran into a problem that hopefully someone can help me with. I went to open Soundbooth and when I tried to proceed into the program, it said that Adobe Products MUST be connected to the internet in order to function. Anyone else have that problem or a fix for it?

I restored my computer and tried again and it was sweet, but i didn't run block adobe activate v2 again is that OK? everything is working but once I have run block adobe once i never have to run it again right? thanks again SKW

@SWEETKICKSWILLY yeah it sounds like you should be ok. If it asks you in 30 days for the serial again well than you know that it didnt work and you will have to try to re install. thanks for the complements :D

i did first download it as a trial. but how do i know if the blocker was running when putting the serial number into the trial... should i try it again? it works but it's annoying when it keeps asking me to register. do you know why the dodge tool wouldn't show up? it shows up on your version?

yes....and it worked for a month...then when the trial ran out.... it asked for the code again...and when i put them in it didn't work. I looked around and actually found a code that worked, then it asked me for my adobe ID....then wouldn't let me go further. :(

@camberley to me it sounds like you did something wrong during the install process. possibly you did not run the blocker from before you started installing till after u put in the cod and it worked. other than that i dont see why it wouldn't work
