  • My intel pentium runs at 2.2 GHz, and so does your core 2 duo. Which means what?

  • a question what exactly things you need to play crysis in very high

  • a question what exactly things you need to play crysis in very high pleas

a and y got an hp and i can't play

  • nice. i have 3 years old lappy (probaply its times beast) with same video card. every game works decently and unreal 3 games work on medium settings always with 40-60 fps.

people talk much bad things about this videocard but its not that horrible :P

infact i think its pretty good.

  • if you want to play crysis with no lag....get a new God XL......with 10 million gigs of RAM, it only lags in the incredly hectic moments

  • @JuniorProducer1996 that is so funny

  • This is not even bearable to watch...or even play with

  • i have this laptop and this rocks but this is HP Pavilion DV9500 Not HP dv9500

  • HP IS BEAST :D

  • At 07:00 i would of thrown him off the edge lol.

  • good call :D

  • 1. what laptop is this?

    2. is this REALLY on a laptop?

  • dv9500t, 8600mGS video card. Now there are much better video cards in laptops, such as the 9500m, 9600m, 9800m, all surpass the 8600mGS.

And yes, this is on the laptop with the specs in description, I have no reason to lie lol.

The system itself is about a year and a half old now.

Read the rest of the comment and see it's because I optimized, ie. Windows XP (dx9 vs dx10) (dx9 faster). and many other things, just read comments, you'll figure a lot out. later

  • this is pretty impressive for a laptop. i'm saving up for a m17 alienware. its fucking badass!!

  • yea, this is an hp, it's more affordable and cost effective for the power you get. It's about 900 if you buy this now a days. But if you get 9800m GT SLI video cards, that'd be some unbelievable power right there that hp could never match lol.

  • @mjw911 alienware is just a hybrid of different computer parts but mainly dell because its from that company but over all yea i would buy it

  • I have one suggestion too...

I started playing my games on my 32 inch SDTV a few days ago... just 2 see how it looks & feels. And I ve noticed a HUGE improvement in gameplay. I connect tv by s-video & for various reasons, the performance is twice as much better....

Continued to next comment.. didnt have enuf characters left...

  • One of the reasons is that the graphics card doesnt have to do "scaling" on the screen output, since TV's have their own scaling mechanism. THAT's where a lot of performance goes... scaling. The widescreen displays of laptops take a heavy toll on graphics cards... TVs solve that. I have experimented enuf & I suggest this to every1.

I am going to make a video of it soon... will send u the link.

I dont know what will happen for HDTV though...

  • wow, yea, make a video. I really think people could use that idea of yours. I'd had thought dx10 would be superior in every aspect as well. It's a funny thing.

  • Hey i have almost the same configurations as u... U said XP helped make games faster... by how much? How many more fps did u get? I dont mind doing that too... vista sucks anyways...

  • a huge amount. Probably 10 fps. If you don't want to go through the trouble of reinstalling with XP. Go to the desktop, find the crysis shortcut, right click it, go to properties, and you see the parameters box? add -dx9 to the end of it. This will basically run it as if it were XP.

  • Oh that means dx 9 uses not too heavy graphics? I used to think the opposite... I thot dx10 must give better performance AND graphics both. nyways, thanks

  • usually play on low on multiplayer though just because I seem to get distracted by the beauty of Crysis at times :) REALLY? This game has a really good graphic, but I don't think that it will distract you!!!

  • my laptop: Intel core2duo T9400 2.53Ghz,4gb ram

GeForce 9600.Can i play this game at medium level?

  • at least medium. Depends on if you turn certain things to low. Look at what I have on low, such as objects. You'd be able to play the game on HIGH or even VERY HIGH settings if you use some lower settings in certain places as well as a lower resolution.

  • i did the same with an ati radeon hd 2600XT

  • I have the HP DV9700, i play crysis on medium, and the PC just shit himself, so how can u play in high? lol

  • umm...read comments and you'll learn how.

  • i get it, u are using 800x600... thats ok, with that my pc runs in very high, i didnt saw the resolution --"

  • mmmmhmmmm

  • how did u get the cpu to 2.2 when its 2,9 stock :S

  • it's 2.2ghz 7500 core 2 duo, not sure where you get the "2,9" from.....

  • Intel Core 2 duo 2.2ghz

    Getforce 8600 GT

    RAM 4 GB

Can I run this game nicley, what ya think?

I hope i can run it nicely in medium graphics.

  • read the rest of the comments to know how to optimize.....but if I'm a laptop and you have same specs as me....you should be playing it at slightly higher settings than me.....if you know what you're doing...

  • Is the 8600gs (512mb or 256mb) overclocked in any way? , and what setting do you use if you play on 1024x760,

    thx

  • for 1024x768, texture low, objects low, everything else same as video. Try that out. But I didn't test it, just guessing.

  • I used to have that laptop and i played crysis on it quite well!!

  • i played that game on that laptop good times

  • VERY NICE

  • Nice laptop

  • thx!

  • hi i like your video and your coments, i have a question: my laptop is a hp dv6000 series i dont remember exactly i think 6500 or 6645us, i use Win XP sp2, 2G ram, AMD turion 64x2 1.9 GZ, GeForce 7150M / Nforce 630M with 64mb viedo or 128, i put 128M in bios. Can i use 169.09 drivers or i have to use others? i want to play crysis and others games.

  • I don't think the video card can handle crysis at the settings you'd want (it'd probably even slug at lowest settings). But yea, it should install. Go to laptopvideo2go(dot)com and install them. I don't think you'll be able to handle crysis though, the video card (7150m) isn't meant for these kind of games. But only one way to be sure! ;)

  • thks for the answer mr crazy ninja lol but i go to the page and follow the instructions and i have a problem i download the driver and instal it using the tutorial in the page but when i restart my pc have a blue screen with error and oute restart i fix the problem rollinback to my old driver but idk why i have these problem, i dont unisntal my old version i instal the custom driver over my original drive have any idea?

  • You did everything perfectly from what I hear. Installing over old drivers is fine, I do it all the time just to test it out. I guess those drivers really just don't work for your video card. I don't think you'll be able to play Crysis at settings that you'd want. You might be able to get the lowest settings, but that's stretching it. The 7150m wasn't meant for it. Have you tried playing Farcry 1? That is a beatufiful game at highest settings. IMO, EQUAL to crysis on medium in level of beauty.

  • Best to build new desktop computer to play the games you want. 3 main things:

    1. GPU - 8800GT (PCI express) or better.

    2. 2GB Ram - any more is not used.

    3. Use Windows XP (faster for games)

    4. Dual core. NOT quadcore. Crysis can only use 2 cores because it was programmed/optimized for them. ZERO improvement if you paid for more expensive quadcore.

    Look at tomshardware(dot)com for benchmarks/proof.

    That's it, Enjoy :)

  • oh and you could probably build cheap system like that for about $500-$600 (US$). If not even cheaper. If you wanted to buy a rebuilt with all that though, it's bound to be a lot more expensive.

  • ok i want to instal the custom firmware not for play crysis only i wna t to instal it to get a better performance to play 2moons lol but i try to play farcry and thks for the answers.

  • Hey,Crysis just runin on XP ?? i have exactly that notebook from hp but vista on it (its sux i know -_-)and wanna play crysis on it.. any chance ?!..

  • yep. reinstall XP (search google for a guide). Install 169.09 drivers. Keep your system clean of spyware/adware/virus, consider doing a "Crysis Partition" to ensure this. Have fun :)

  • thx man lot of work todo -_-°

  • you can also just go to the desktop shortcut for crysis and add -dx9 to the parameter. This will be a slight boost. Plus get the 169.09 drivers, they're best for crysis.

  • hey i got an HP laptop with these specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz,

    3 GB RAM,

Ge Force 9600 with 512 MB dedicated memory,

    Full HD resolution,

on which settings will game run,and how well???

  • if you reinstall with XP and get custom gpu drivers from laptopvideo2go(dot)com and leave a partition just for Crysis. You'd be looking at higher settings that in this video :)

  • man i need Windows XP but i have tryed severall times i can't have internet or sound and i have a fingerprint reader HP Pavilion dv9812eo

  • search online for drivers from megaupload(dot)com. It gives you EVERYTHING YOU NEED. It really is great. Have fun.

  • Thnx meybe i find my last driver i need i installed Windows XP yesterday now i only need the LAN driver becuse i have nVidia nForce and i installed it but wont let me log in to LAN so i need someone to help with it now

  • just search for nvidia nforce 10/100 drivers or something. It'll come up.

  • ok i will try

  • need your help..

i got intel core 2 duo with 2.6 GHZ and 3000 MB RAM and geforce 9500 GT 512 M is this enough?????can i "ENJOY" the game if i have these options????

    thanks..

  • yep, 9500gt > 8600Mgs If I remember correctly. Read comments below I tell people how to optimize Crysis. Enjoy...

  • Hey does it lag when you are in the jungle where there are a LOT of trees?

  • i have no idea what the card is called... it just says 256mb nvidia quadro...

  • go to dxdiag and click the display tab give me what it says for "Name"

  • hey i got a hp notebook 87 \series core 2 duo T75000(2.2GHHz) 160 gb hard drive, 2gb ram 256 mb nvidia quadro graphics card, windows xp pro,56k internal modem, can i play crisis on high detail with little lag on this computer???

  • i would need a specific name of the quadro graphics card to tell you if it would perform better or worse than this notebook.

  • I did a little research for you. You'd be better of with a geforce card than a quadro, quadro is better for using AA and 3d apps/graphics development. But Geforce is for games and outperforms very well. Next time get a geforce, it's a consumer card that meets our needs (games). Unless you like to do a lot of 3d graphics. But you should still be able to play Crysis with your card (probably not high without lag but I'd have to see what card you have to make that statement).

  • Hey guys a got a Acer Aspire 5920g with: +intel core 2 duo processor t5550(1,83 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache)

+Up to 1535MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600m gs turbocache

    +3GB DDR2

    +320GB HDD

Can i run Crysis with this specs??

  • sure you can. add -dx9 into the shortcut's parameter on your desktop (look this up). Also get 169.09 drivers from laptopvideo2go(dot)com. If you can reinstall with XP, you'll be better off as well, but the -dx9 trick should fix this. Also be sure to have the settings I have in the video. You can also put texture to low and shadows to medium for even more fps increase. Enjoy man :)

  • ahh ok thx for the info man

  • Hello

Can you say me what a notebook must have to play games like crysis and call of duty 4 on a good grafic

  • Sure!

    1. Operating System - XP(dx9) runs games faster than Vista(dx10)

    2. GPU - check out this site (Go to google(dot)com and type "notebookcheck mobile graphics card benchmark test" without quotes and click the first link

It tells you how good mobile graphic cards are compared to the rest. I am using an 8600m GS, you can see that an 8800m GTX blows mine out of the water.

  • 3. CPU - You don't need the BEST cpu to play heavy games. A dualcore(2 processor) system is actually better than similarly priced quadcore(4 processor) system. BECAUSE the code can be optimized for 2 cores but it is difficult to optimize it for 4 or more. Save your money and get a dual core system. I like Intel and I'd say get an Intel Core2Duo 2.0ghz or higher.

  • 4. RAM - A lot of people get 4GB when all they need is 2GB. Save your money and get 2GB. Crysis(most demanding game out right now) even when run under Vista(most demanding OS right now) still has left over RAM when used!

    5. Drivers for your GPU. Get CUSTOM DRIVERS from laptopvideo2go(dot)com. The best out right now are 169.09 for my 8600m GS and I'm guessing it is the best for most cards. Oh yea, and when getting a gpu, get NVIDIA, They seem to be better all around.

  • 6. Clean your system. Make sure you have no adware/spyware that uses up resources. This can tack on an extra 5 to 10 to even 15 fps difference. And again, XP is much faster at playing these games. Good luck!

  • Im getting a laptop with these specs: 4 gb ram, GeForce® 9600M GT 512mb, intel core 2 duo 2,53ghz. xp pro. can i play this game at high, without to muth lagg.:) thx.

  • Yes, especially if you go to laptopvideo2go(dot)com and install the 169.09 drivers. They are the best I have found for Crysis. Your video card is much better than mine, as well as your CPU. Crysis doesn't use all of my RAM(I have 2GB). So you wouldn't see a difference there. But as long as you get those 169.09 drivers, you'll be flying with the High Settings!

  • after all its a great video and the fact that a laptop can run crysis its Great!

  • i wounder what the fps?

  • average from what I remember was about 12. Which is too low, 15 is minimum I'd say. Medium is better setting for this laptop. I was just showing off what High would look like. Weak(and cheap!) video card can only do so much :)

  • Oh but now that I think about it, it had fraps running to record. It usually gets even high fps without fraps by about 5 fps or so. Because I play on High all the time on single player and never experience lag until the frost levels/inside alien ship.

  • this cant be a laptop......

  • Yes it is...you may ask yourself how is it possible? Well...

    1. XP dx9

    2. Great Drivers

    3. Decent video card.

    4. Perfect Settings Optimize Performance

  • wtf,, i can play a little smoother on my amd +3800 and 1 big ram geforce 8600gt on the same settings

  • I can help you optimize your gaming experience.

    1. If you're running Vista, add -dx9 to the Crysis shortcut parameter on your desktop.

    2. Latest Drivers from Nvidia(dot)com

    3. Add another 512mb of ram if you are running XP. Add another 1gb of ram if you are running Vista. If you ever plan to upgrade to vista, might as well just get the 1gb anyway.

    4. Reinstall XP and leave a partition just for these high end games that need all the cpu power/ram they can get. (avoid programs in background)

  • I know it's possible lol i got the 9700t...

  • yep, nice 17" notebook :)

  • hi nice vid btw i just wondering if you could help me. im using vista on my laptop and after slipstreaming the sata drivers to xp which was easier than i thought, i get the blue screen of death when i try to run a game (laptop is a toshiba satelite a200-28p) thx in advance.

  • go to device manager and see what drivers you need. Most likely video card drivers. Toshiba may have xp drivers for your video card, if they do, then download them and install.

  • my laptop 4000dollar do you think it work? on mine on highest

  • lol, money doesn't make a computer work. The parts do. My laptop was only 1200 and can play on High. This may give you an estimate but again, the parts run the computer not the price tag.

  • nicceeeeeeeee
