@StudioISNER It's supposed to be a real-life-simulation, so it can't be that easy to control It would be called arcarde game then ;)). But, in my opinion, you should wait. The tire-simulation is nowhere near perfect yet and graphically it's quite average too. You need to pay for everything... every car and every track.
@StudioISNER, it's not bad you know if you like simulations. The V8`s sound good and the nascar stuff is pretty accurate, i guess, but overall the sounds are kinda weak too, something that puts me off regulary.
@TheMagicalLemon01 check the comments ;) I use a racing wheel (G25) which is usb. DFGT / DFP also work with it, although they are Playstation wheels.
I just googled your problem and you might be able to use a gamepad (it sayys in the iRacing FAQ's) and if you drive talladega, you might even not need to steer. xD
well what i ment is that you seen the smoke start in turn4 and you just stayed in it untill you got way up there. When i see a spin in front of me i just get out of the gas an use the brakes a little
not sure what you mean with checked up, but maybe i eventually had made it throuh but only with alot of luck. Funny thing is: the guy i was following gone pretty much full throttle and got directly hit, but made it throuh unharmed thanks to IRacing's "lucky dog" net-code. You can hear the "crash" sound when he enters the other tumbling car
man it started over in turn 4 and ended down by the end of the trioval.

Does it work if you get a USB for a controller on the PS2 or PS3 then play on the computer with that or use a PS2 or PS3 wheel?
