  • Who the hell dislikes this?? This is awesome, thanks for posting man!

  • Wow, fortissimo....

  • I've watched this solo so many times, much thanks & love to whoever decided to post up and share. Its one of the most heart felt solos I've ever been exposed to. 3:42 --> Seriously what the fuck is that. Its like he chanelled into diminsion winds from some far off mystical mountain. what is going on there?

  • @umbra88 ,

Haha, yeah, that 'winds from a mystical mountain' comment was spot on :)

I heard it too and wondered whether it's the effects or.... something else...

  • @dorlandosonic

that made me so happy to see someone else was feeling me on that one : )

    amazing solo!

  • I think only Mike can get Mike's tone... B4 i ever saw Mike my buddy I was going to see him w/ said. "Now, I know why Hedrix would burn a guitar. Because the instrumental had served it's purpose. That's what Landau is like!" I was skeptical..until about four notes into the first solo...game set match Landau. Got to sit basically inside his cabinet at the Potato with the Abe's (Laboriel Jr drums and Sr bass) and Greg Mathieson keys. It hurt so good! There are no words for it...

  • nice ..he plays with an arion sch-1 chorus...

  • How do I get that tone? I have the equipment I just don't know how to get that clean distortion sound. I'm an acoustic guitarist so Amps isn't my forte. Anyone know?

  • Clean and distortion are diferent things, due the dynamic transduction of the pick-ups when you play soft the peak to peak value of the signal is small, but if you play hard the peak to peak value of the signal is very high, you can to use a level of gain in the amp for a clean sound when you play soft but if you play hard it should be distortioned due the saturation produced by the highest peaks in the preamp section, thus the sound can be clean and dist.

  • If you want a clean sound free of hum

use a noise gate. You can hear the reverb gate effect at 3:55 and 4:19

  • No noise gate here. Aside from the fact Landau doesn't have one on his pedalboard or his rack, you can clearly see him adjust the volume control at both of these times.

  • Hi friend! I am concentrated on the sound when I mention the reverb gate but the noise gate or expander is a suggestion to remove the hum noise.

  • Fat....

  • The songtitel is "Underwear"

  • Mike is a gas !

Buzz Feiten has a new album just out ( in Japan so far ) with Brandon Fields guesting . Its absolutely wonderful .. Buzz is as stunning as ever .. its a pure treat . Pls tell all your music loving friends to go out and get it . Buzz deserves our support .. his talent is unique and he is too oft overlooked .

  • damn! he gets me EVERYTIME! he has it all, was lucky enough to see him in cologne...
