I like her performance as always. I had seen other world champions performed and bought the video too, but this lady's performance is better! An excellent teacher does NOT necessary produce "good" students. It all comes down to the students' physical abilities and efforts to excel! I have students that performed much better than I did.:-) And I am proud of them.

Intersting to see this video and that she is in the US. I competed against her in a competition in Tonglin China around 1992. She was probably the best performer there. Maybe I'll make it to Portland to see the school and get a refresher in 42 form.

Please tell us where does Gao Jiamin teach Taiji ( quan / sword ) nowadays in US. I thought , she retired after she got married. Do miss her very much !!

the US wushu center is in portland oregon at nw 17th and pettygrove

when she married Yu Shaowen she became a teacher at his wushu and taiji school here in oregon. she is around a few days a week, though not all the time because she has kids now days. but when she teaches you, or when you watch her demonstrate it just blows you away her knowledge of taiji is amazing.
