"ricer- A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice. It really depends on the severity of the case.

Most cars that are imports are acctually manufactured here now to keep down costs so the only real difference is the company is located in japan. Muscle cars came stock at 214 or so hp. Most sports car imports come stock at 240-293 hp with turbo's from the factory. So then if a muscle car beats me can I say he has a unfair advantage by modding his car? No, cause I ll suck it up, be a man, and mod my car more to beat more street legal cars.

So take $30,000 each, one owner (cobra owner) buys the cobra-650hp (acctually 450 hp "looked it up") the other owner buys a evo 8 or 9 and ends up with 293 hp and $11,000 left over for mods. $11,000 can get you a T67 turbo with 550hp for $3,000 (install it yourself) do a catback turbo exhaust-$1,200 (for a good one), AEM cold air intake-$220, new injectors-$800 (at most for some nice ones),

I kinda like this video but I'm not impressed with race car crashes. That RX7 is a purpose built dragster. That Civic is a race-prep car in the Nurburgring. That Evo is a rally machine. None of them ricers with ridiculous wings. They shouldn't be here. Respect the racing machines!
