theres another glitch were if your in the warthog right ontop of one of the ice patches and someone shoots a rocket at you, you wont die, nor fly outta the warthog.

I was just telling my rooommate how this was my favorite level in Halo CE and how it's just like avalanche. I wish they would bring back the CE maps.

I miss Sidewinder so much. Avalanche is a good map, but it just isn't the same. And system link back in the day was one of the funnest gaming experiences ever. It was partially because so many excited gamers got together in the same place just to shoot at each other. *sigh*

halo one system link was way more fun than live on halo 3. this is one of the best maps out of all of the halos.

all halo 3 map bases are small, halo 1 and 2 all relied on the bases, halo 3 relies on connections (br host) duals are garbage now

I am a huge sidewinder fan and think avalanche is a great remake. The only problem with sidewinder was the teleporters. In the video you saw how quick it was to go around the lvl. Avalanche fixed it and made it a better vehical map

whats really amazing is halo was released in what was it 2000 or 2002, yet the graphics are still ok, they are bad but u can put up with them (the awesome gameplay also helps) and its come all the way to HD and even now halo 1 is still an acceptable game 2 play.
