At least Pacquiao fought Hatton at his natural weight. Floyd made him fight in a division he's only had one previous fight in. He also fought Corrales at a time when he was having a hard time making the weight limit and was ready to move up to lightweight. Floyd uses most of his power outside of the ring. At least Pacquiao fought Hatton at his natural weight. Floyd made him fight in a division he's only had one previous fight in. He also fought Corrales at a time when he was having a hard time making the weight limit and was ready to move up to lightweight. Floyd uses most of his power outside of the ring. @januel17 i am one of the people that believe that marquez won both fights. in the first fight, marquez dominated from round 3 through to 9. the second was really close, but for me marquez edged it by a point. countless times we have seen in boxing guys getting off the canvas and winning in the end. floyd patterson did it vs johansson, holmes vs shavers 1 and so on. no doubt pacman is the best fighter out there. nothing but respect and awe for the man, but i feel he lost those fights.

The draw was actually incorrect because a judge later admitted he forgot to give a round to Pacquiao. So that should have been a win for Manny. The second fight was close but again, I tend to favor knockdowns and aggression over counter fighting. But most experts (even those who gave the fight to Marquez) only had him ahead 1 (at most 2) round(s).

That means who took the worse punishment. Pac knocked him down. I don't see how a fighter can win if he's been knocked down without returning the favor. Unless he decisively wins every other round, which Marquez didn't win very decisively because they were back and forth. It's hard to call those kinds of fights.

Manny is taller than 5'6 Cotto and Hatton are 5'7 and Manny is taller than both check his height out online. Boxing is by weight not height. Martinez is shorter than Marg and Oscar. The thing you have to understand is this, the dude has 2 belts right now, 1 at 40 and 1 at 47. The 40 belt hasn't been stripped and its been a year and a half (1 1/2 yrs) and the 47 belt not too far either and he has yet to defend, unify or be stripped. Martinez defended his belt and then beat the lineal Kelly P at 160 no catchweight and was stripped in far less of a time frame in order for Manny to dodge him and fight an unlicensed attempted murder who was also unranked. Pacquiao's strength is on his legs and his fists. His fists are bigger compared to his size. His calves are big and when he punches, the strength are coming from his lower body strength. Mayweathers both father and son know it. They just want to accuse Pacquiao of steroids so it will go in Pacquiao's head to torment Pacquiao mentally. Pacquiao did not want to have his blood drawn frequently and he attributed his loss to Morales to close to the fight blood drawing.
