nova is a from a group of elite ghost, that were infused with protoss energies, increasing their psionic capabilities and making them more poweful. i believe they're called spectres or something, lol. i remember reading that on blizzards starcraft:ghost site many many years ago.

To bad but the game suffered becuse of the developers (not Blizzard) and it never came to terms who it would really play and also the generation shift to 360 also helped to seal the deal. I do hope the make a SC FPS game in the future like Natural Selection (HL mod) or like this but better.

@Knightmare3000 actually I did a little research after this comment and from what I found the 7th generation consoles released during development of this game and Blizzard placed an indefinite postponement to the development (meaning it isn't technically scrapped or cancelled, just paused) because they wanted to explore the potentials of the new generation systems. Now that they've got a next-gen game, SC2 and the soon-to-be Diablo 3, We can very well see SC: Ghost next.

They did not cancel it, they postponed it. It will be released eventually (probably when next gen consoles come out). Don't forget back when this was slated for release would have been playing it on PS2 and original Xbox - that's the main reason Blizzard postponed it (note: NOT cancelled).

The CEO and president of Blizzard said that they had to many things on there plate when they we're making this game... And there were supposedly lots of malfunctions and problems with SC Ghost so they just saw it as a waist of time and resources to try and focus on something that wasnt worth working on anymore.

I mean sure it would have been a good game, but I'm not losing any sleep over it lol.
