Have to reset? No, you just have to finish the story mode or battle you happen to be playing. You can also change direction in midair by pressing A. The same combo performs a double jump for all characters. Since this is a *very* important and somewhat basic move that is used repeatedly in gameplay, one must wonder how much of the game this guy actually played.
