no, micheal shumacher was never a stig, hes only there becasue of the ferrari fxx and ferrari would never let the real stig drive it, no matter how good of a driver he is. theres only one stig, and its probably ben collins. the bbc doesn't care enough to pay shumacher or someone like hamilton to drive these cars around the track. plus if it was someone different, the track times would be different for each driver, so it wouldn't be as scientific.

.for starters Michael Schumacher was racing F1 car till 2006. the new stig was intruduced to the show in 2003 and as Michael Schumacher was traveling around the world racing for the first 3 years he couldn't possible come to england to race cars around a track in guildford. yes he could of come in around 2006 but why and wouldn't they made a bigger fuss about it like they did when they killed off black stig?
