  • eu amo a Kamio!!!

  • Awesome - her face reflects the passion she feels. Those that interpret it as "pain" are like the colorblind who interpret a beautiful sunset as "clouds".

  • My name is a classical piece :) <3

  • 240p, we meet again...

  • So beautiful! Thanks for posting.

OMG, how anyone dislike this music of the gods which is so beautifully played by the young Virtuosa Violinist Mayoku Kamio ?

  • @lovemetu

They just missed the Like button, and pressed the other one.. Don t worry it s not their fault, they re just using old mouses..

  • LOL....

    It's not a bad face.

And it is not pain she is feeling.

  • Why does her face look so much in pain? She should be in sublime ecstasy playing the piece.

  • w/ such a beautiful song how can anyone make such a bad face at 2:20

  • So moving. It touched my heart!

  • At the end the audience claps, the Orchestra claps and a beautiful soul is revealed as the small lady violinist gently leaves the stage and then humbly goes back again to acknowledge the applause, then in the small room she enters offstage a little shy smile as all present acknowledge her amazing performance and presence. Life can be wonderful sometimes cant it !!

  • @AddictedToAndrea

It would appear from looking at your comment and remarks on your channel that you gain pleasure from trolling and upsetting others, well if that gives you pleasure, then that makes you a very sad person.

  • Music of the gods, from The young Virtuosa Violinist, Mayuko Kamio of Japan .

  • I wish you the best in your career! Your rendition is amazing! You've got a fan in Brazil.

  • So much feeling going into this amazing composition - the difference between a top performance and the performance of a consummate Virtuoso. At 21 years old, the potential is endless - Bravo Mayuko Kamio

  • I heard this tune and the story of Thais in my highschool music class 55years ago at the age of 16.

Next day, I found Mischa Elman's sp record among my fathers collction and played it by his old fashoned phonograph again and again.

  • потрясающе!

  • Tu vis ta musique.... tu la ressens.... très loin....... superbe interprétation VIVANTE !!!

  • So beautiful!!!

  • I have to play this for an audition tomorrow o.O

  • very beautiful traquil and fragile, her youthful innocence when she ungracefully held the violin before she played ...masks her immense talent. once in a while god gives the world a gift. now i'm compeled to look for more ..

  • What an inspiration to all violinists!

  • Massenet, Stradivarius, Kamio -- no wonder it's perfect!

  • Her facial expression reminds me of this Korean chic experiencing multiple orgasms for the first time. So heartfelt, so intimate, so deep...

  • @SEKIGUCHIMASUTERU I know, Kamio reminded me of this Korean when I was stationed in Korea. A Japanese face can also remind anyone of a Chinese, or even a German. It's subjective, man.

  • I know, Kamio can remind anyone of a Chinese, or even a German. It's subjective, man.

  • @JamesMerlin2 I'm sorry if my poor english comment hurt you or any other people. I agree with you. She is a splendid violinist. That's all.

  • Perfection!

  • I had a big smile on my face when she finished. Loved it. How come no one in the orchestra could even crack a smile at the end to the featured soloist?

  • @surfboy

Because they were all so jealous!

  • she is awsome

  • Very very beautiful and graceful ..

  • like an angel..!!

  • Heavenly beautiful! She makes her violin sing in a special way that I've never heard before...

  • Why is she in such a pain? The song is supposed to be beautiful.

  • i love the amplification of the harp, adds so much to the piece.

  • I love this piece. So romantic and tragic.

  • Μου αρέσει πάρα πολύ.

  • I thought it was a little too fast.

  • @purplerose221 Maybe artistically, but metrenomically, she used plently of rubato. Her triplets were just right.

  • Wonderful, beautiful, soft, gentle, peaceful. Gorgeous violin player.

  • very good...im bearly learning dis song...looks i hav a long way to go to

  • Looks like she's crying herself

  • She playies with heart

  • Goodness gracious, how many of these beautiful, young Oriental violin virtuoso ladies are there in the world today?!! I refuse to believe it is just coincidence, it is a direct sign of a higher hand at work. All of them begin as child prodigies, are gorgeous, humble and talented to the extreme.

  • 三陸の廃墟にささげる

  • It is really warm, such big talent!

  • great

  • Well, if you can play it well then I would feel very accomplished

  • @MrCollin1914 I certainly can't play it as well as her yet but I've learned the entire thing by myself. I have a few mistakes here and there though :/

  • I have been playing violin for less than two years and today my teacher just gave me this piece. Is that weird or should I feel accomplished?

  • that sound pierces my heart like a needle , such a full of emotions

  • i guess those 17 dislikes have no sense in beauty

  • Oh, so lovely! Beautifully played...

  • Just love to listen to this kind of soothing classic Meditation from Thais. I would like to play my violin and piano once again. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • This is a most amazing performance of a fantastic young musician. Whoever might want to criticize her should try to play the violin himself. I've been playing as an enthusiastic amateur for 45 years myself , I have played in different ensembles all my life and I have always practiced a lot but I couldn't compare myself in any way to this gifted young lady!! Congratulations and all the best for your career, Mayuko Kamio!!

  • @Sabine107 it´s fair

  • One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar. -Hellen Keller

  • Great, this really touches your heart, thank you for this gift!!

  • 2:53-54 did she miss something?

that is the crucial B which grabs the changing of mood and must not be left out.

but no body cares, her playing is brilliant.

  • @edmondrachmaninov 2 "B's" or not 2 "B's" that's the question

  • The best rendition on youtube!

I love her sound! its amazing!

  • This girl opens the soul vibrations in humans! Can I buy this particular concert on CD?

  • Could be the best rendition I've seen/heard yet! Bravo

  • Bravo ! I love her performance!

  • i have heard this played by many talented people and i rearly like this one the most.

  • First violinist, outside third desk, screwed up the bowing at 2:00. Fail.

  • I love how she's putting her own emotions with each note of the piece. really helps musicality when you do that.

    this is amazing.

  • Jules Massenet would be so proud of her!!!!

  • Super :)

  • muito bom!!!!!

  • thats funny

  • Escucharlo estremece mi alma

Una lágrima salió de mi corazón

    Son notas divinas,

    Ejecutadas con gran pasión.

    Jorge

  • inspiring!

  • hola soy de mexico tocas hermosisismo jeje atte natan eliu gonzalez banda

  • LOL

  • なぜストラディバリウスはここまで圧倒的に素晴らしいんでしょう

    神尾真由子も信じられないほど素敵で上手な人ですね!

    最高の女性です!

  • I loved this piece because of the openness it gives you for emotion. It's technically "easy", but to get the vibrato and nuance expressive is impossibly difficult. The vibrato is key - the long notes really bring out the expression there. This is a lovely demonstration of how it can be done by a virtuoso.

  • A really stunning performance ,such emotion from her ,I love Sarah Chang but this is very close to Sarah's best ,surely she must have a big future ahead !!

  • this girl is so talented and beautiful. amazing.

  • I'm playing Meditation for an audition next week, and I hope I can come close to how amazing she is.

  • Spell bound....takes my breath away.

  • wow i'm amazed it sounds just like the

sarah chang one lol both are so good

  • i agree :)

  • I loved the closeup of her beautiful face at the end...so full of emotion as she flawlessly played this wonderful piece..!! a beautiful violinist...!!

  • tempo's totally fine for me, I don't know what people are complaining about. It still captures the right emotions.

  • kinda fast O.O

    but otherwise great

  • magnifica!

    Salvatore Villani

  • this tempo is just fine. you don't have to wallow to be emotional. it has flow and direction. if she wanted to stretch more here and there she could...

  • wow

  • Mayuko Kamio play with such feeling and subtle nuances, she actually makes this piece come alive. The Tempo might be a little too fast but her playing makes up for that. If anything it's the fault of the conductor not the soloist. Brava!!!!

  • agree with you mcsegeek1...definetely too fast

  • Her playing gave me goosebumps through out the whole video...she's so consistent, precise, and her style is just beautiful...BRAVA!!!

  • Sublime...

Really played with heart and full awareness

    Congratulations

  • is it just my taste :: it is a little bit too fast, just my humble opinion
