It should be faster without the vectored thrust system. I've built 2 squalls so far and my next build will be with a gyro and a altimeter. Gotta love the 2.4 GHz telemetry gear. Totally hooked on the Squall, saw it on YT a few months back and it's what really got me back into RC flying. Couldn't resist the concept.

cool jet. does it have the vector thrust option installed? if i had to buy a manufactured EDF jet, this would be the one.
