@doughlump - To deny there are David Gilmour comparisons would be to deny one of my "obviously" biggest influences. To say that it is like "stolen" would, in my opinion, be a vast exageration. Everyone is welcome to their own opinions though. Glad you took a moment and gave the song a listen. :-)
There is no way around it: I love this song and the video! They are a gift to everyone but especially to those of us who are lucky enough to have been born into the large family that goes back to Morton B Howell. What a memorable tribute you have created! Cousin Robert Orr Jr
Great work. So smooth and nice. I'm a friend and old fraternity brother of Rob's and have two sons in "the trade" in Philly - pushing the big wheel up the hill with their band (East Hundred). It's a tough and fickle business. You need to be very proud of your successes and your incredible talent. I love your notes for This Day and I love the fact you wrapped your family in this creative thing. Guitar ain't too shabby either! Best wishes. Bill Blair in Alexandria, VA.
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing the song and video. I am a friend of your cousin, Robert Orr and his wife Susan. I have had the honor of spending many weekends over the last 20 years at Howell Cottage and have very fond memories and look forward to more (another trip is in just a few weeks actually!).....Great job, David
@damarburger Hey David! Thanks so much for checking out the song/video.
Amazing just how many years of memories, friendships and families that house holds. If the porch chairs could only talk. Well hopefully this footage help tells a part of the story from days gone by. Our family is truly blessed to have such a treasure!
Very much like the blue by David gilmour.. the verse is almost like.. stolen.
