Oh yeah . . . do some research. The Bush's bought up huge tracks of land in South America in 2006. It's very controversial because the area is mostly owned by private corporations & situated over natural gas reserves & one of the largest aquifers in the world.
Here's another little tidbit: military supply chiefs in Iraq couldn't figure out why their orders weren't being filled & it led to an investigation which showed their orders were being diverted to, you guessed it, South America.
