Pancit Malabon was the original. I remember Mang Seong made it famous and his recipe was adopted by the other Hulo restaurants. There is much difference in the texture of the original, you can't compare Palabok with Malabon although the taste of the former somewhat approximates the latter. It's the "tinapa" and the chitcharon that make the distinction and in Pancit Malabon, there is no liquid sauce. Mang Seong also put oyster in his special order.

The title is deceiving. This is not Pansit Malabon but Palabok.
Even the sauce is not authentic, I could not imagine Mama
Sitas Palabok for Malabon.

The sauce base of Pancit Malabon is Chicharon, Tinapa and garlic, sorry...you should title this dish as Pancit Palabok and not pancit malabon!
