i just about pissed myself when i realized what i just did. i just answered my own question that i posted SIX MONTHS AGO. i did not even realize it until after i hit post. thats honestly an amazing coincidence.

no because first there is the normal gauge on the octave that would be standard tuning on a 6 string acoustic. all the smaller gauge string above it is is an octave higher than the string below it. so it is the same note is what im getting at. and by the way this is a very nice guitar i have the exact same one.
