  • I was the guitar tech on that tour. I will tell you this, If you ever saw the movie Rock Star, that is exactly the way it was in the 80's. Man they had so much pussy going on from town to town, it could not be believed. It really was Sex,Drugs and Rock-n-roll. I wish I was still on the road with a band. But I got myself, Married with children. Damn it!!!!!!

  • Great Song! Axe rocks!! Thanks!

  • Saw them with Heaven and Motley-Austin Texas-In "High" School! $9.00 for three bands!

  • 3 negatives wouldn't know good music if it bit them on the ass

  • one of my favourite 80s songs, although here in Germany nobody used to know it, back in the dayz. :) Man, I miss these days so much.

  • Can a time traveler from the future please, please come back and snag me so I can see Axe open for Motley Crue back in the early 80's? If I can stay for the Crue concert than that would be fantastic but if not I will understand. I will be ready to go at 3PM PST on 9 October 2011. You know my address, you're a freakin' time traveler. Lets do this!

  • @motleyhar LMAO!!!!!!!!! You sound like a cool dude. Don't ever lose that.

  • Pimpleback and 3 Dorks Down should receive a lot of negative votes, they suck! Axe Rocks!

  • Those were the days! 80s were my high school years

  • axe were simply stunning and totally underated. the first 3 LP's were just 'ear candy'

  • Great song, we use to cover this in my band.

  • mmmmmm, friday night, Camaro's, T-tops, sitting on the hood of the car with the stereo really loud after a concert, with chicks with amazing hair and very little skirts...... man i miss the 80s.

  • @Blaklege63 Sounds Awsome, I wish I was around in the 80's.

  • great rock song, great voice ... melodic rock as its best ...

  • This is a song begging for a remake ~ maybe Bobby ~ Kid Rock? It could take him to another level ~ I use to cruise the beach to this ~ when the piano and guitar collide ~ it's magic ~

    Peace,

    V

  • Axe was previously known as Babyface with a line-up of vocalist Edgar Riley, guitarist Bobby Barth, bassist Mike Turpin and drummer Teddy Mueller, the group adopted the new title of Axe in 1979 when the band added second guitarist Michael Osborne.

  • Wow, my band used to play this song back in the day. I totally had forgotten actually performed this one. Thanks for the clip!!! Rock on! xX

  • I still have this LP! I like this version better though than the original.

  • Ah yes........... Good tune. I do remember being exposed to Axe on the mtv.

  • I love the guitar work in this song. This song kicks ass wholesale.

  • @sixxshooter68 The Bronco Bowl show was kick-ass!!!!

  • Offering is the best Axe album of all time

  • comments on this vid are funnier than most, kick axe song! peace ;.)

  • This sounds different than the track from the Axe album "Offering." Lower key, different singer?

  • @porkolicious Think this version was a remake on thier greatest hits cd back when.

  • BRINGS BACK SOOOOOO MANY MEMORIES!!!!!

  • This is a totally different version. The original version's guitar has a different sound and long, quick sustains that this song does not have. And it was a shorter version than this one.. I believe this is a Re-Record version. Still, a Great song!!!

  • I just heard this on "House of Hair" and lived it!

  • THANKS......... good old times.................

  • This song was written by a stranger

  • thank god for xm radio, regular radio stations ONLY REPEAT SINGLES OVER AND OVER. Hair Nation plays bands I never heard of before, i just heard of this one, fucking kicks ass, someone needs to give more hair metal bands i never heard of before.

  • @mikelapgar AXE was from Florida...

  • THIS SONG BRINGS BACK SOME SERIOUS MEMORIES!! Axe opened for Motley Crue(who had just put out the "Shout At The Devil" LP) at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas, TX. This is the ONLY song I remember Axe playing...It was a great show. 80s were great fucking years for music!!

  • @sixxshooter68 I saw them in an opening act for Cheap Trick in Paducah, Ky in the early 80's. Nobody had ever heard of them, but they blew Cheap Trick away with only 3 songs. I like the original versions of the songs, by the way.

  • @sixxshooter68

    \m/(◣_◢)\m/...PHUKKKKK YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

. MY FAV KIKKKK AZZZZZ PARTYYYYY

    -GETNNN PHUKKKK'D UP SONGGGGGGG......

  • Wore this cassette tape out, shows my age I guess. Fuckin' A.

  • who does te cover of this song that they play on the radio? it sounds like paul stanley but I know its not him.

  • nobody does a cover; this version is re-recorded

  • I never heard the Long Version of this song before by Axe. It seems like they just play the guitars and music longer.

  • Very Classic and COOL

    Thank You!!!!

    AXE ROCKS!!!!!

  • Oh yeah I almost forgot - A million thank yous for posting this!!!! I just cannot tell you enough how much this means to me & other fans of this song!!!!

  • np man just give me more requests if u want some music

  • I don't think you can ever go wrong w/this neglected classic whatever version you play!! Both versions are great but longer is better!!! The steel guitar solo is absent on the "Offering" version & that's a shame!! Still a rocker - timeless classic that AOR & classic rock stations should've paid more attention to!!!
