  • very good

  • I'm convinced now

  • i see alot of shift + D here awsome vid tho

  • WHO THE FUCK WOULD DISLIKE THIS? This is the BEST, and i mean absolute BEST thing i have EVER seen made on blender and it has EQUAL QUALITY if not BETER QUALITY than a actual movie! awesome work man!

    999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 / 5

    ...yes i sincerely mean that.

  • "This WAS NO ACCIDENT"

  • Very impressive. I don't get it though.

  • What technique did you use for the lens flares?

Did you use the flare function in blender?

  • Weren't computers really weak back in 1999?

  • hope i can figure that program out so i can make somethin like that top notch in my view man

  • That must have taken FOREVER to render lol

  • <<<--- austinartwar I have made my logos and even some web promos using blender. Subscribe to let me know what you think.

  • GREAT !!!

  • I really liked it.

  • @blenderbroadcast Thank you.

  • y is it whenever people make animations of the future it always has to be in the city not the country

  • realy cool dude but im not realy like a dude who knows that kinda stuff so i didnt even know what i was looking at most of the time

  • passes a way and goes beyond

  • This is the most impressive blender animation I have ever seen, though Elephant's dream was quite impressive as well. I would absolutely LOVE it if you made some tutorials. Looks like you've got the textures down packed!

  • dude this reminds me of toonami

  • Very inspiring. It always kills me when i see the end of an animated movie or cg flick with 6,000 people just to light it. I mean this is proof that one man can rival an entire studio. KOOL WORK!

  • Thanks for the comment. I agree about the amount of people you see in movie credits. I personally think it should only cost a pack of cigarettes and a cup of coffee... waiting for the render... ;)

  • @SKPvideo Haha, that is true. But how long did it cost you to render all this? Or did you work on several computers, rending one while you are working on the other?

I admire your work. Really well done.

  • @Leto85 - Keep in mind most of the work i this video was doen a decade ago. Back then I would model ann set te scene up on a single computer and let it render overnight. The only times I would use my multi-computer setup was if I was doing commercial work - at that point I would use as man computers as needed to finish by the deadlines.

  • @SKPvideo And how many computers would you advice to use when creating something like your video? What hardware do you advice? I'm talking about videocards mostly.

  • @Leto85 - The video was done with one... right now I use a series of 10 computers - but most are just garden variety. If you're doing everything in Blender with full hi-res models and all the fancy render options - yeah - you'll need some high-powered comps if you're doing big renders... But I find a lot of cheats... prerendering backgrounds and compositing them in... using textures strategically to eliminate the need for fancy shaders and complex lighting setups...

  • KInd of close to a project I've had in mind for some time. Don't know if I'll ever poses enough animation talent for my vision to become a reality though. Great work!

  • AWESOME! great job.

  • Truuly breathtaking! What an imagination, and coupled with the skill and patience to turn out this quality...awe-inspiring and humbling...'specially for a bloke who was pleased with building a table, plonking a table-cloth on it and then spilling virtual gooey water all over it for giggles. Currently sitting between inspiration and despair! Bloody good show! 5*

  • How did you do the lensflares?

  • my new idol

  • MY GOD IT's FANTASTIC!!!

  • I hope I can blend this well some day.

  • this may sound stupid, but I have got astonished with the lens frares you use, they are wonderful, in particular, the one with cromatic aberration. Which engine are you using? Blender internal?

  • Your work is very well done. Have you ever done any 3d for for movies?

  • dis must of taken time

  • impresionante gringo, se ve chido tu trabajo.

  • That was amazing! Very good work.

  • Thats was great im still workin on human faces in blender.

  • How do I turn anything I make with Blender into video so I can edit them on a video editor?

  • render it

  • 1. Press F10

    2. Under the Output tab, select the box with /tmp\ in it.

    3. Select the location for your animation.
