If we're lucky, it could be on VC but since Rare somehow left Microsoft, who knows if they would allow DK64 on that or not, hope they do.

When did Rare leave Microsoft? Microsoft wouldn't allow it, they are way too greedy and mean when it comes to video gaming.

How I wish it were true though...

@groxkiller585 Been awhile since I heard of it, but I think it was to venture out and try something, or Microsoft decided Rare wasn't really needed. Anything could be possible for Rare now.

Sadly Microsoft still owns Rare and is using them to develop Kinect games. Not to mention Rare owns the licensing to 3 out of the 6 Kongs in this game and I'm sure you can guess which they are in no time. =( I really hate when someone like microsoft comes in and swoops up a developer and forces them to make garbage.

they put DKCountry on VC, which is also made by rareware, but rare is tied in so much with this game they would probubly remove jetpack in crankys lab and the rare coin

i envy all of you guys cause all you did was sell the system/game but my dad broke the N64 for some reason and i had only 13 bananas left to find! same thing with super mario 64 in that one i had 10 left to go!

Quite a while...

The first time I beat it I yelled: "YEEEEEES! WTF? BANANA?! DANGIT!"

I never got around to beating it (that comment would sound really weird out of context). Unfortunately I sold it to buy a GCN. However, I recently went on an Ebay buying spree and got myself an N64 along with OoT, Mario Kart, and all the Rareware games. I'm going to play it over Xmas break :-)
