this is really sad...but some schools don't teach kids geography as much as they should. I was fortunate to have a sixth grade teach drill us on continent, countries and capitols. Its not entirely our fault, I think.

Ok, so this is has probably only happened once in history, at least since since 19th century. Europeans often criticize Americans for lack of knowledge when it comes to the European continent; the interesting thing would be to hear Americans asked about their own continent instead (an average European can maybe name about 10 American states, or is that an underestimate?). Though this takes the prize. But there cant be any other Americans like that right? She gotta be the only one...

Think independently; question what you hear, research it, then. :) You think many American females are like her in terms of intelligence? I know our educational system has declined over the years and it is sadly lacking in public schools....but her? No. There are private schools, charter schools, and home-schooled kids. Some children do learn independently from school, too. It's best to see each person for who they are, not what nationality they are.

this is really sad...but some schools don't teach kids geography as much as they should. I was fortunate to have a sixth grade teach drill us on continent, countries and capitols. Its not entirely our fault, I think.
