This song only peaked at #46 on the US Charts in the summer of 1983, which probably had more to do with a big change in music tastes by then, especially with in New York, the debut of WHTZ-FM (Z100 at 100.3) and WPLJ-FM (95.5) doing a slow flip that summer from Rock to Top 40.
If this song were re-released now, it probably would be a much bigger hit than it was originally over here.
