  • did i just see a triple twist to back tuck? what is that connection worth? a back tuck is simple but after triple twist how much is it worth?

  • Yes, it's E+A which gives her 0.2CV

  • That's great to see! and should be a new trend, connecting difficult elements consequetively... What about a double full-double full, double pike-double tuck...

  • okay, i doubt a double full-double full is possible, but a double pike-double tuck is literally impossible, I would think. Maybe someday, but don't get too excited.

  • @espinaca79 Actually, double full-double full is the same value as a 1 1/2-front full or vice versa, which is what quite a few gymnasts are doing already.

  • @ThePenguin888 Really? The copy of the 2009 cop I have says A/B+E... So that means they don't have to be in order?

  • oooooh im so excited for worlds now!

  • 6.1 is big!nice job!

  • can you post the whole japan cup?

  • I don't have the whole Japan Cup.

  • ok:/ mut thank you for the videos that you have posted:)

  • She needs to switch the first and second passes - open with the triple, punch back tuck. Like she used to. She's gonna run out of steam.

The dance is much improved though, I was impressed by the leg up double turn.

  • Poor thing, she had a tough time with this routine. What was her A score?

Penguin, on the screen by the floor, the name on it says Dementyeva Anna, so that's why amc81 said that. I think it must be her as well, because I was thinking that a 14 (which Anna M is listed as scoring) seemed rather generous for this routine. And looking at the results, Anna D. scored a 12.85, which suites this routine more.

  • Her D-Score is this.

    A+E+0.2CV

    E+A+0.2CV

    C+C

    D; D

D+A (I counted it as a cartwheel, deducted for legs, but no fall).

    D

    CCDD | DDEE 0.4Cv

    6.1

So she had 1.1 in deductions. If they counted it as a cartwheel with legs bent (0.1 most likely) then that's a realistic score.

  • double turn in back attitude and double turn with horizontal leg are D's? i thought they were C's

  • Yes. They changed values in the new 2009 COP.

  • Isn't this Anna Dementyeva?

  • Not at all. It's 100% Myzdrikova. Why would you think that?

  • Well the video quality is not great, so at first I thought she had intended to do something else, failed and tried to save it. But indeed, it's a cartwheel.

  • She tried to do a barani but bailed out and ended in a cartwheel.

  • Messy third pass... That was considered as a fall, right?
