  • I think that you need the blood of the devourer for the cure; that can be taken from its corpse. It's just that having it alive keeps it fresh and allows a greater supply over time.

  • I thought you had to capture the Waterdavian creatures, not kill them? Wouldn't killing them ruin the chance of a cure?

  • Not really, since you don't need them alive to create the cure, you need to harvest the ingredients from them, brains hearts etc.
