However the new railway underground lines in Sydney such as the airport line and the Epping to Chatswood corridor are cleaner and newer. Sydney's railway system is a hybrid system, it also allows freight and intercity trains to go through the underground network and over the bridge.
@Tarrant1976 Hello, I have seen Melbourne's underground system , smaller of course. Sydney does look dirtier especially the old city circle loop. It was made in the 1920s a very long time ago then around the 1950s circular Quay was created above ground to give the city's railway a style to it 'supposedly (You can look over the harbour on the station) while Melbourne's 3 station underground loop is a bit simpler then Sydney's .
that's a bit difficult to do. don't want the driver to be easiliy identified. What do you want to know about the controls? It's all pretty simple really
@fictillius Wow, it seems like an olympic sport. I'll have to start paying attention to when my train starts braking and stuff, I'm interested as well.

yes i can understand why.
i only wanted to see a video of the controls just to see when he knows when to brake for the station etc.
i have already got pictures of the cab and seen it anyway.

When does the driver start braking to stop at the station.
hellstone182 1 year ago
@hellstone182 that'd depend on heaps of things

Ok
So is it just basically good judgement of the grade, weather and other factors
hellstone182 1 year ago
@hellstone182 grade, weather, speed of the train, condition of the track, what kind of train, quality of the brakes. It's quite a skill ;)
