  • BOB <3

When i ripped this vhs in 2000 i sure didn't think it would last 10 years on line and make its way through youtube.

I've been around the world attending Bob concerts everywhere I could in the last few years, tonight I was watching Grant's gig. What can I say? The band that still affects my mood, my life, my way of looking at the world. Even 20+ years after they split up.

I'm gonna love Husker Du forever.

  • This is the happiest song on Zen Arcade, as it catches the Character in the moment after he leave's home but finds out how bad the rest of the world is.

    Full of optimusm.

  • One of the best songs ever for sure!

  • Steve Vai sucks!

  • One of the best songs ever created, regardless of genre.

  • i like the riff at the beginning. How does he play it so fast?

  • @kraftwerk456

    Practice.

  • Wie kann man so zugeknallt sein bis zum Anschlag und es so genial rüberbringen????Wie geht das????

  • my all-time favorite husker du song

  • superb track. how the fuck did they know where they were in the song??! bein' fucked up and all. total noise. great though

  • God Bless Original Music.

  • i don't understand how bob plays those complex chords when he's fucked up..mad props to him and the huskers.

  • o mi gah Chartered Trips Live!!!!

  • Hart's hair is so long you never see his face. Norton has a handlebar mustache but he's the only one that's not gay. Bob looks so high. This band is pretty damn awesome hahaha.

  • Grant's bi. Or, at least he was...

  • yeah i heard that too from woman who frequented the scene in their early days. apparently he had a girlfriend and a baby and brought it to clubs. she didnt have kind words for grant too. said he was kind of a scumbag. i dunno. his songs are really great. rumors schmumors the important stuff is what we're watching here on this space of the internet.

  • The best song on Zen Arcade along with Standing by the Sea. The vocals are amazing.

  • Is it just me, or does 'ol Bobby seem like he's been hitting grandpa's medicine cabinet a little to hard?

  • it's entirely possible that he was under the influence of something here. However, I've seen him still do the rolling of the eyes stuff in more recent shows.

  • Definitely

  • Looks like he's done the medicine cabinet and popped out to the Vets for some horse tranquilisers and finished it off with a bottle of Vodka!

  • the clash..joy division..husker du : PANTHEON

  • They are amazing!!!!!!!!, sadly, in Chile (and in the rest of the world, maybe) they aren't very popular (nobody knows them, that's injustice). In fact, the only disc i've ever listen of Huskër Dü is Zen Arcade. But they're amazing anyway!!!!!!

  • They aren't Norwegian..

  • Yes they are! They are from Minnesota, just like me :)

  • Most. Underated. Band. Ever. Im from Norway btw.

  • norway ruuuules yeah!!!!! im from norway btw :P hehehe rock on dudes!

  • NOTHING touches Husker Du. Nothing.

  • Chartered Trips may very well be the finest rock song ever written.

  • God, thanks for the 80s: Husker Du, Replacements, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Slint... What more???

  • mainstream eighties sucked though... and we all know it even the hair metal guys themselves admit it lol

  • Rites Of Spring!! :D greatest era for music ever

  • i hear ya

  • dont forget big black fugazi and dinosaur jr!

  • or Rites of Spring, Embrace, and Sonic Youth!

  • The best bass intro ever! the rest of the song is not that bad either.

  • Awesome. Ever wish you could keep a band at their peak and never let them leave?

  • they constantly reached they're peak, they kept getting better. Warehouse is my fave.

  • one of the best songs ever

  • this the fucking bollocks YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH

  • again...the most important band after 1978. mould is my favorite singing voice...NO one can sound this soulful in a post-70s era. yeah i said soul.

  • i agree ..way ahead. probably very influential but not much credit

  • so much crap today- god i miss that band= they were light years ahead!
