Wow this review was SO helpful! I am a huge Urban Decay fan and have been dying to try these out... I have blue eyes and love wearing gold eyeshadows to bring them out, so I'm planning on going to Sephora and getting El Dorado. I tested it out in the store and its beautiful. What eyeshadow colors do you (or anyone else commenting on this) recommend wearing with it? Is gold eyeshadow with the eyeliner too much? What about a brown or soft pink? Thanks :)

I know you mentioned the sparkle with retrograde, but I was wondering about the other colors that are listed on the UD website as having sparkle: bobby dazzle, eldorado, radium, revolver, smog, and woodstock- did you see any kind of separation or fall out from the glitter particles? Yeah, it's a good product but it's contains only 1.7ml ....very expensive...

i think that mermaid colour may be similar to a (possibly discontinued) Borghese colour.. esp in the on screen colour change category.

OK, so this vs. the Stila waterproof liquid eyeliner. it looks like one big difference is that Stila's have sparkle to them, but anything else quality wise?

@Pursebuzz LOL!It's described as brick red on Sephora and Christine's swatches on Temptalia really shows the color perfectly.I'd like to swatch the colors side-by-side and if I do,I will be the weird person in Sephora making a video. :P

I dislike that the product is in the smaller part. for such a large pen, you get so little product. I think if they sold them as duos or threesomes for a cheaper price like 3 for $32 I would be more inclinded to buy them. Also I would have loved to see more green tones.

I have a question about your makeup in this video. It's something I'd like to recreate for school but my skin is SO oily I can never do the just eyeliner look. So did you use a primer or shadow with the liner? Was it liquid liner? I just need a simple look that'll last all day at my University, with this heat and humidity just melting everything off my face and my horrible oily skin just making that much faster. @LadyCupid190 Try a mixing sealant. Eve Pearl, Ben Nye and a lot of other brands carry them. It is a clear seal that makes the liner virtually water proof :)

Lol.Woodstock is truly pink.If you compare it to MUFE Aqua Eyes' red,you'll really see the difference. :) I love these but I'm torn between MUFE and UD simple due to color selection.

I have hooded eyelids and I have both MUFE and UD liquid liners. the UD brush is better but the MUFE formula lasts longer and is actually waterproof. I teared up with UD and it smudged, but for MUFE it didn't smudge. So now I put the UD brush in the MUFE tube of formula cause they are the same size

Gosh, I never thought of using an eyeliner brush instead of the wand that comes with the liquid eyeliner. I've always avoided liquid eyeliner simply b/c using them is just too difficult, but now I think I must give them a try with an eyeliner brush. Thanks for the tip!
