being part of boredoms is one of the highest honors a drummer can have, if not the highest, Brian Chippendale, Panda Bear, the guy from Modest Mouse, the list goes on and on, you need to understand it's more about creating something interesting then creating some thing catchy, if all of these drummers were showing off what they could do it would be overwhelming
@Phunkman9 If only YouTube allowed videos longer than 7 minutes back then, so you'd get just that with what happened there. Someone sent an MP3, and it was nutz.
not sure if vice will put out a DVD. although they LOVE to sell things, Eye requested that people stop recording after 7 minutes so people remembered it in their brains, not on tape. or something like that.
and for those that missed it, there were not only a few camerapeople that were roaming the drum spiral (like the guy wearing a yellow fish head @4:18), in the background you can see the 3-or-4 story lift (orange and yellow, can't miss it) that had some cameramen on it. if there aren't professional stills + multi-angle dvd of this soon it can only be due to incompetence.
most prominently visible drummers are brian chippendale of lightning bolt in seat #77 in the outer ring when the camera swings right. "drummer in the red shirt" jeff salane was #45... to his right is andrya ambro then travis harrison and you can sorta see alan licht. i haven't found a complete accurate seating chart online yet.
this was an excellent spot to see the show. 5:41 seconds in ya caught me in full profile wearing my sporty pink hat.
I was right behind whoever taped this. For those who were there know it was truly amazing. I was wondering how it sounded from the bridge and looked from above. Hope they make a DVD
That's Jeff from Panthers on the left of the camera (red shirt) most of time. Hi Jeff (will here) - so was it amazing or what? I watched from the Brooklyn Bridge (background) with a shitload of others who could not get in after it capped at 4000 (I heard). It sounded AMAZING even from up there.
Awesome event but who cave a monkey a camera?

I was sitting next to drummer #67. There was so much official documentation that a release of some kind will surely apppear.
This performance was one of the best moments of my life. It would be impossible to thank eYe/Vooredoms enough.
