@ak220880 the word namaz is not an arabic word dude.....the arabic word for prayer is salat......and moon+star is not an islamic flag,.....its just a flag of pakistan. nowhere in the quran does it say that moon and star is a symbol of islam!!.....ravi shankar hasnt done a comparative study of all religions....and he also says making images of god representing brahma and vishnu is not wrong!!....the vedas r strongly against it!!

@MrFreeze7005 wherever the namaz word came, it is drives from Sanskrit words either namah or namas (meaning Namaste or pray).
dude dont go in Quran for history, dear u sud read the rich ancient Arab and Egyptian culture and history. Muhammad was inspired from Ancient Arab 'Moon god Allah' and Hindu God 'Lord Siva'. This is why he used Moon in his earlier flag many times but later separated it from Islam becoz he dont like symbolism. but moon remain predominately used in Islamic countries.

@ak220880 dude, namaz is not an arabic word at all.....and its just used informally in india. the actual word is salat....and even for hindus theres just one god...nothing like lord brahma,vishnu or shiva....only one god with different names. and muslims dont worhip the moon...so wrong dude!! and if u say moon is god, where the hell would star come?? moon and star is not a flag of islam at all!! ssrs himself accepted his mistakes in the end of the debate
