I think this is one of the most difficult keyboard solo ever and if achieve this you are a solid keyboard player!!! Good job!!! I hope one day i could play it
I'm trying to learn this for my high school talent show, i have a year to practice it which should be enough time. i was wondering if i could get some pointers and i'd also like to know how you got the drums by themselves.
do you have the sheet music for the solo? that is number 1. Number 2, learn really really little chunks (maybe 1 bar) at a time and put them together. Number 3: play REAL FUCKING SLOW to start... maybe 1/20th speed!. Number 4: play along to the track, use a program like Audacity to slow the solo down without changing the pitch (change tempo).
number 5: be prepared to spend many, many hours on it.
@Txiwi What?! I hope you mean you've been practising this piece for a month, not playing keyboard in general for a month. But anyway, this was amazing. So accurate.
Did you program the sound yourself? I've been trying to make that lead and have come fairly close but not as good as you. Care to describe how you made the sound?
Is a Kurzweil PC1X keyboard but i´m controlling a Roland XV-3080 Expansion rack with midi I/O. And drums track played by pc. ;) Sorry for my bad english
is this... sort of... sped up? you know some parts just look like... my arm would break at this speed... i've never filmed my self playing this solo, but do the arms really move that fast? or are you freakin superman?!?
try using the keyboard a lil bit up, its better for your arm, and the sounds too much square, its square+upper octave sawtooth. besides that its awesome, you rock!
Dios que solazo!!! You are god! Really Amazing guy!!! You're my keyboard player idol now! I wish and I want play with you progressive songs like this! I'm a god drummer too... hahaha! Greetings!!!
What effect do you put to the keyboard sound like that? is a sinth effect of something like that? thanks!

Whats the effect that makes that wah-type sound when you move from a low note to high?
MoowChair 1 year ago
@MoowChair Pretty sure he's using a pitch wheel on the keyboard. Note his left hand sitting on the far left of the keyboard.
PianoHero1994 1 year ago
@MoowChair The effect is called "portamento" on many synthesizers. Aka "glissando" in general music lingo.
