The originals are still better for story, and main antagonists. Do you see a mutated computer making a super mutant army? Or a huge bad ass Enclave mutant with awesome bladed gauntlets? No you just have some southern asshole with a coat that you can kill with one shot XD, plus Fallout 3 did fail really hard at being a sequel. Bethesda fucked up royally with this game, but Obsidian did make a epic win out of NV (by referencing 1, 2, and even Van Buren a lot of times through out it).

That's your opinion. My opinion and many others Probably almost everyone thinks Fallout 3 was the best game of all of them. I even thought it was better than New Vegas. Reasons are. - Many locations, Huge Map, Content is was much better (Schematics) Downloadable Content (DLC) was far excellent and big in Fallout 3, Compared to New Vegas.

Well, Fallout 3 is in the future about a nucular war and mutants, and oblivion is about tamerial and has exotic races such as dark elfs, imerials, redguards, argonians, kajit and a few more. just depends what game you like but i would recommend fallout 3 XD

Oblivion is back in the iron ages (I love oblivion, personal favorite)

But fallout is about weapons, its basically oblivion with guns,

My suggestion is get both, bout 70$ for both, because oblivion is cheap, and get both used at gamestop, if only one, i'd choose Fallout.
