  • Great bass tone , but bass is too loud for me ....i can't hear acoustic guitar tones.

  • That is a freakin' bass tone!!

  • Saw Hot Tuna - great - San Francisco and Pitman, NJ.

  • Jack, the DEVIL BASS !

  • I was in S.F. in the late '70' next to Ghiradelli Sguare at the very alley that Papa John Creech was dicovered. My wife and I had a portrait of my son (at 2 yrs old) done by a street artist there.... just a personal adventure/memory!

  • They have so many good songs, and a HUGE repetoire, that it's not possible for them to play everybodies favorites at each show. I'm just happy for what I get, even if they dont play...Water Song!

  • I saw them recently and the didnt play this.sooooooooooooo pissed!

  • Thank you Jack for that bass solo. My how you can walk a blues change. You are just the best.

  • Well...Oh, Kay, then. Is this ...version, sl-o-o-ow, ee-nuff... for ya?

So what? It's Hot F#cking Tuna! They can play it any way they want! This slower version gives Barry plenty of space to trill.

  • @timparcival That's Jack alright. That Epiphone sounds excellent too.

  • Damn. Thanks for that.

  • I just wanted all Hot Tuna fans to know that Hot Tuna will soon be visiting Long Island, on the waterfront at Shorefront Park in Patchogue.

They are performing July 15th 2011 along with over 35 other performers that weekend. There will be plenty of other rock, jam, folk, blues & “Americana” genres as well. Definitely check it out, there’s more information on the Great South Bay Music Festival website!!!

Nice clear recording, better then some of the bootlegs of more recent Hot Tuna concerts. If you ever have a chance to see Hot Tuna live it is an experience.

  • Ke BONITOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • How do they do that?

  • @orlandooftheriver theey have the blues fell

  • I love Hesitation Blues...been playing it for years. It's a great song. Hot Tuna was Jorma's chance to finally express himself and be the guitarist he always wanted to be.

  • @vaibanez17 Hey Kid Jorma has bin aroumd a lot longer than you...And his Guitar Playing Has Bin Highly Respected 4 Five + decades....I Believe he express His Playing with age. Because he gets Better with age i have seen him play for years. Jorma's Acoustic finger picking Piermont Blues Style....Is Second 2 none......He is a Master at it.......But if you want to see the greatest Acoustic Player in the World...Check out Tommy Emmanuel.

  • @MUSICNEVERSTOPS I was saying good things about Jorma nothing bad. I love his playing. I want to see him live. He came near here but I was flat broke and couldn't afford $12 tickets. I will never be as good an acoustic player as he is. He is a genius.

  • So relaxing.

  • very cool.

  • Go Jack go!

  • I'm sure diggin' seeing Jack play that LP Signature Bass. Great Bassist...!

  • i di too, but he's playing his Epiphone Jack Casady Signature model, which was modeled after the LP Signature bass.

  • Great every thing ! Thanx !

  • ha he kinda lost it

  • Jorma played that Martin guitar at his ranch when I was there as a student. He said it's a loaner from Martin because his signature model had gotten damaged and was being repaired. I won't soon forget hearing him play it in a solo living room concert he gave for 12 students. He said "this is what real acoustic music is supposed to sound like."

  • what about the mandolin solo?

  • Amazing!! :-)

  • I wonder if it is a loaner from Martin while he decides on the specs for his forthcoming signature model.

  • It is an 1833 Series Custom. 1 of 2 made for sale. • Does Jorma play his shoes off? Yes!

  • I saw Hot Tuna perform on Aug. 4th in Fargo, ND the day after this, in an intimate 225 seat theater. Unbelievable talent. I have loved these guys since I was 16 years old and was first turned on to them. I am 54 now and all I need to do is close my eyes and hear them playing this song to take me back to my youth. Hot F***ing Tuna!

  • Jack is King

  • Beautiful! Jorma and Hot Tuna never ceases to amaze!

  • Another reason I enjoy Midmorning.

Thank you for making my day even better.

  • First class!

  • fantastic quality! fantastic performance!

  • Probably one of the best performances of this song I've ever seen, even by them. Speaks for itself but WOW. Talk about slow roasted blend.
