Apple is now selling the iPhone 3g in Hong Kong already unlocked, and the old iPhone is useless, unless they take over your plan, they can't use the old iPhone with the new plans. Its pointless to do this!

I bought my iPhone3G here in the USA for $199, but I've heard that in foreign countries, iPhones are going for around $700, so for foreigners, this is a good deal.
