  • thats not funny that just means her anal glands are full.

  • How cute!!!

  • It may be her anal glad. The groomer / vet can expel the buildup of fluid... That is what she is trying to do here.

  • ~ worms ~ You may want to have her checked out for worms

  • Ahh! Every week there's at least one dog that comes in that needs it's anal glands emptied. but this dog may just be enjoying a god old scratch!

  • Take it to the vet to have your dogs anul glands cleaned out, this is the problem. Her butt may smell now and then too.

  • this dog is awesomo!!

  • that dog is adorable but it looks like she/he needs gastric bypass that is the biggest yorkie i have ever seen

  • ur dog has dingleberries and she/he is tryong to get them off

  • LMFAO dingleberries!!!!!!

  • or your pup could have worms

  • Eeeeew. My little silky terrier used to do this too, bless her smelly little butt. Looks very funny though

  • She's adorable, by the way!

  • Dogs have two small sacs just on the inside of their butts called anal sacs. The sacs normally empty when the dog poos, but sometimes they don't. When they fill up to a point that is irritating, the dog will scoot along the floor. Take your doggie to the vet to see if full anal sacs are what's making her scoot. It's a very simple procedure and does not hurt the dog at all. It can be done right away. Hope this helps! (I work in a vet clinic :)

  • But when the stuff is pulled out the dogs butt with tissue or cotton wool stuff, it does hurt them. Has it done to my dog every month, he cries now and then.

  • Yes, sometimes one or both of the sacs can become infected or inflamed if they do not empty on a regular basis. The vet will put on a latex glove, lubricate one or two fingers, and manually express the sacs. And like your dog, RCT, some can become tender in the rectal area for a short while afterwards. LOL, I've done it before and a few dogs were definitely not pleased.

  • say what?!

We always thought it was because our dog's ass itched a lot, but that must've been the prob, I guess.

  • so what do i have to do my pom just did that same thing
