@napalmocean Yeah, most programmes do this nowadays. It's a "best of" they put out as the last episode in a series, just a bunch of the "best bits" of the whole series put together.

Well, Brian Cox is a fairly well-published, seemingly experienced particle physicist, isn't he? There's not really a LOT of ways you could accumulate a lot of expertise on that area, I wouldn't think. It's not like they build LHC's everyday, nor can I imagine CERN letting just anybody in to help, even if he is popular.

I don't really know much about Cox, but I do think that the physicists chosen to work on the LHC must certainly be held to a very high standard when they're chosen.

Looking at that montage of guests at the beginning, it shows how high the quality of guests was this series. A far cry from the likes of Kelvin MacKenzie, Terry Christian and Janet Street-Porter.

I read her book Life's Too F***ing Short. It's a really good read. Gave me a better understanding of her.

I know in that episode of WILTY she came across as a grumpy old bird lol. Fair enough. But I would, too at her age...maybe.

But for me she's brilliant. There's so much about her that I didn't know before.
